Wayne L. Cameron celebrates his 31st year in the business of brokering fine art and antiques.  He began his career in the business as a part time collector/dealer who graduated quickly into a full time avid collector and dealer.  He has owned and operated successful galleries in both British Columbia and Alberta.   While he has not taken any formal training, his years of experience have taught him a great deal about the attributes of acquiring and collecting quality paintings and antiques.   His mentors were other dealers from Holland, England, Canada and the United States who shared with him the finer points and attributes of good quality paintings and important antiquities.  He has been a full member of the Canadian Association of Personal Property Appraisers  for a number of years and written a number of articles published in the CAPP quarterly newsletter.  Wayne is an award-winning columnist who has written numerous articles published in various newspapers and magazines.  His specialty currently is in the area of Canadian, British and European fine art as well as antique furniture, silver and other objets d’art.  He currently resides in Chester, NS with his wife Jocelyn and works with his son Ryan in their fine art and antique gallery in Chester.

His son Ryan is a specialist in rare antique books and manuscripts, and together with his wife, Grace, manages the store at the Chester location on most weekdays, and Wayne is available in the store on weekends.
